When I was little, I had a book called The Big Book of Amazing Knowledge . One of the interesting bits inside the book talked about a house that was build like a maze. It mentioned staircases leading to nowhere and windows facing blank walls. I found it all so fantastic but then it faded from my memory for many years. Come adulthood and I've moved to California. During an anniversary celebration with my ex, we decided to go to San Jose and visit a friend of ours, do some shopping, and visit this place my ex had heard about.
